List of Gas Stations in Summit

Here is a list of Summit gas stations that have been open this week.

One of the many unfortunate results of superstorm Sandy is the super-long lines for gas. From going to the mall, to going to work, you'll use a lot of the stuff as the week wears on. It's common to hear tales of driving to Pennsylvania to buy gas. Ditto for the amount of people who have wasted gas just waiting to get gas.

So where are you going to get your gas today, Summit?

If you follow yesterday's roller coaster of gas station openings and closings, it may look something like this:

Shell (opens at 6a.m.)

Summit Shell 336 Morris Avenue, (908) 522-9608

18 Morris Turnpike, (908) 277-6170 ‎

35 Summit Avenue, (908) 273-1677

36 River Road, (908) 277-3775

42 Morris Tpke, (973) 379-9873

Outside of Summit

 2018 Springfield Avenue, Maplewood, (973) 762-3230
Remember, these stations often sell out and wait times can last 1-2 hours (or more). If you haven't ventured out for gas this week, don't be surprised by signs that say "CASH ONLY". For a .
If you know a nearby gas station that's open, please let us know in the comments. Don't forget to use your Twitter account to find gas using #NJGAS.

Exxon on River is showing 4.19/gallon. Price gouging at it's finest.

Yes I noticed. Before hurricane Sandy it was below 4.00/gallon. They should be reported. I hope everyone remembers this when things get back to normal.

That station is always priced high. 10% price hike is max allowable price hike during state of emergency.

The Delta station at 19 Summit Avenue was open this morning and selling only to Atlantic Healthcare employees. They were turning away Summit residents.
