Movie Night Gets the Kung Fu (Panda) Treatment

Screen on the Green continues next Thursday with The Wizard of Oz.

Summit residents gathered on the Village Green to catch an outdoor showing of "Kung Fu Panda" in the second installment of Screen on the Green.

But before the sun set and movie got rolling, kids were entertained by the Panda himself.

  • Thursday, July 14: "Wizard of Oz"
  • Thursday, July 21 – "Shrek Forever After"
  • Thursday, July 28-"Greetings from the Shore" (Date Night)

Date Night is designed for adults only. The film will be Greetings from the Shore, filmed entirely at the Jersey Shore. This love story proudly shows off the Jersey Shore in a sweet and positive way. Staring Paul Sorvino, this film is a touching coming of age love story. The Director of the film along with the Screen Writer and actors are expected to attend and sign copies of the DVD following a Question and Answer period. Featured at many independent film festivals and on the big screen in limited release, this film has become a cult hit for all who love the Jersey Shore. A celebration of all things Jersey will also happen that evening.
