Picture of the Week: Dozens Turn Out for Habitat Vote

It was a historic moment when the zoning board approved the first city-sponsored affordable housing project since 1986.

It's been a long time coming but the zoning board of adjustement finally put the Habitat for Humanity affordable housing project at 39 Morris Ave. to a vote. In a historic moment in city history, the application was approved by a 5-2 vote. This will be the first affordable housing project the city is building since 1986.
