Summit Has Many Things – Including a Goat

Resident known for walking downtown with his goat.

Summit resident Cyrus Fakroddin and his 8-month old goat, Coco, pass shops on Beechwood Road on a walk Saturday. Other pedestrians stopped to marvel; some took photographs. "Precious thing! Isn't it cute?" said one. Fakroddin said his property, along the Passaic River, "begs for a goat," and that Coco has cleared brush and poison ivy. The goat comes from a farm in Lafayette, NJ; Fakroddin said he plans to return her there.
