Week in Review: Helipad Hearings Continue

The Zoning Board, Common Council and Board of Education all met this week.

This week we stacked as usual with zoning board, common council and board of education. But the helipad application dominated the week again when more than a dozen "No helipad" lawn signs went missing on Oak Ridge Avenue on the even of the Zoning Board meeting. Here's the full rundown of all this week's meeting madness in case you missed any of it:

On Monday we gave you an update on the shared services study being conducted by the Summit and Millburn fire departments, Patch put together a detailed comparision of Summit's school tax levy and how it compares to the 18 other Type I districts and to nearby Type IIs, reported on a car accident Saturday the Summit fire department responded to, brought you a full report on the missing helipad lawn signs, and brought you coverage from the boys lacrosse game.

On Tuesday. we brought you coverage from the zoning board meeting, the weekly police blotter, announced the resignation of city planner Eileen Banyra, brought you a brief about a grant the fire department recently received, and updated our list of football player committs with Dwaine Dabney's college selection.
