Week In Review: Hilltoppers Win State Championship

Summit beat Orange 28-19

What a week to be a Hilltopper! By now you already know the Summit varsity football team defeated Orange 28-19 Thursday to win its first state title since 1994.

Here's what happened the rest of the week:

On Monday, still recovering from our Turkey haze, we reported on all the donations from Summit residents to the three gubernatorial candidates, announced Bridges Outreach is collecting men's coats and boots for the holidays, and took a look at Summit resident Marian Glenn in a different light, in her role as a professor at Seton Hall University.

On Tuesday, we brought you the weekly police blotter, told you Summit High School would be running fan buses to the big game, broke down what happened at Monday's zoning board meeting which was a continuation of the Overlook Hospital helipad hearing, announced the Summit Farmer's Market would be staying open throughout December and previewed the varsity boys ice hockey season.
