Week in Review: Sparks Fly at BOE

Fourth and Fifth grade health and behavior curriculum causes controversy in town.

It's never a dull moment in Summit and this week was no exception. The Board of Education and the Summit schools were the topic of conversation again this week as on Tuesday, Mayor Jordan Glatt made comments regarding the type I nature of the district and on Thursday the Board of Education meeting exploded into a discussion about sexual education. Here's the full rundown of stories from this past week:

On Monday, we began the week with a gallary from Sunday's Daffodil Day at Reeves-Reed, brought you a report from the softball game, sat down with Councilwoman Ellen Dickson to talk indepth about her decision to run for county freeholder and brought you coverage from the high school baseball game.
