Week in Review: Summit Legend Morry Hubbard Dies at 101

City mourns, celebrates Morry's long life at memorial service.

This week Summit mourned the loss of a city institution when 101-year-old G. Morrison, better known as Morry. Hubbard Jr. died on Aug. 21. We had several stories about his life and his memorial service. Here's the full rundown on everything Morry related and otherwise:

On Monday, we began with the sad news that had passed away Aug. 21, continued our lifeguard profile series with a look at Joe Candela, and coverage on the state congressional election between Ed Potosnak and Leonard Lance.

On Tuesday, we brought you the weekly police blotter, continued our coverage of the death of Morry Hubbard with more memories from the people who knew him, and brought you coverage from the football team's first scrimmage of the 2010 preseason.
