Holiday Sale of Egyptian Handicrafts

Colorful patchwork quilts, rag rugs, note cards and other crafts handmade by Egyptian Zabbaleen women will be on sale Dec. 7 and 8. All proceeds go to a craft school for women and a Headstart-style school for children 3-5 in the garbage recycling community of Moqattam, outside Cairo.
