mission is to rescue, nurture and place homeless dogs into loving homes for
good. Funding for the organization comes solely from individual donations,
fundraisers and other private contributors. Home for Good Dog Rescue does not
receive government funds. Monies are used for transportation, medical care,
food and other supplies.

Since their founding in
August 2010, Home for Good has successfully placed over 2,500 dogs into
permanent loving homes. The organization is run by dedicated professionals who
volunteer their time and resources to help homeless dogs in need. They rely
heavily on their foster program, which provides temporary housing and a loving
family environment until the dogs are adopted into their forever homes. Home
for Good provides veterinary care and all food and supplies while the dog is in
foster care.

Dogs available for
adoption are posted on their website, homeforgooddogs.org. Adoption events are
held at various pet supply stores in the Essex, Morris and Union County areas
on weekends. All upcoming events can be found on their website.
