The Best Day Ever! finds Baze and His Silly Friends in the groove with what Jeff Bogle (Out With The
Kids) called “rock solid, toe tapping, kiddie rock-n-roll,” and even sets the band’s music firmly on a new level, updating musical styles grounded in tradition with a snappy, new 21st century relevance.

Kindie music favorite Suzi Shelton, whose beautiful vocals gracefully embellish The Best Day Ever!, will be a special guest at the October 27 show, singing with Baze and His Silly Friends on “Wake Up (It’s Time to Go to Bed).” Stacia Newcombe "Star" from PBS Sprout Kids The Good Night Show will join the fun on the earth friendly song A Little Green.

Popular New Jersey kids’ band, Jason Didner and the Jungle Gym Jam, will open the show.

Baze and His Silly Friends will kick off the CD Release Party action with their traditional welcome song, “Hi, Hello, How Are You?” before hitting the drum roll-off to the beloved “Ants Go Marching,” getting the whole crowd up on their feet and marching along.

In addition to presenting a generous sampling of new tunes from The Best Day Ever!, Baze and His Silly Friends promise to play plenty of BAHSF fan favorites from their previous albums. The band will hand out tambourines and invite everyone to come onstage, joining the music making on “All My Silly Friends” and singing along to the nursery rhyme lyrics of “Poor Mother Goose.” When Baze heads into the crowd during “Train Train,” a limbo line “train” will form, dancing its way around the room before pulling into the station for the show’s grand finale, with Baze inviting kids onstage to sing the ABCs into the microphone and the band breaking into their famous version of the song, “I’ve Got the ABCs,” which will feature the kids chiming in on the backup vocal “yeah, yeahs.”
