A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

Wednesday, July 23, 7pm – 8:15pm

By William Shakespeare

Directed by Daniel Roberts,

Based on an original production conceived by Brian B. Crowe

When starry-eyed young lovers and zany would-be actors cross paths with
mischief-making fairies in a magical forest, the result is one of the world’s
most uproarious comedies. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is the ideal “first
Shakespeare” for young people, and a riotous roller-coaster ride for teens,
adults and Shakespeare lovers of all ages!

THE LIBATION BEARERS

Monday, July 28, 7pm – 8:15pm

By Aeschylus

Directed by Awoye Timpo

Family secrets, powerful gods, and bloody revenge collide in this gripping
Greek classic. Many years after the brutal murder of his father, Orestes sneaks
home to enact his revenge. With the aid of Electra, his sister, a plot is laid
to ensnare those responsible for the death of Agamemnon, the king who famously
conquered Troy. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see this compelling tale of
the House of Atreus.

* Guests are encouraged to bring a
blanket, chairs, food and wine. If there is inclement weather or extreme heat
the performances will be held in the Main Gallery.
