Summit Community Night

Join the Department of Community Programs for a night of music,
community and summertime! Come out for Summit’s Fourth Annual Community Night
next Tuesday, July 23 from 7:00-9:00 PM on the Village Green. Rain date is
scheduled for Tuesday, July 30.

Community Night is a fabulous networking event for Summit area
non-profit organizations and city departments on the third night of the Hot Summer
Nights Concert Series.  Area
organizations working towards a healthier, happier community are invited to
showcase their efforts with a table, tent and promotional materials.  The event has been a great success, made
possible by the generous sponsorship and enthusiasm of Investors Bank, and the
DCP is happy to have over 35 local organizations in attendance this year.

The featured band for the evening is the Springsteen tribute, The B Street Band, who has been rockin’
Bruce fans since 1980! Also making an appearance is the New Jersey Devil’s
mascot, “NJ” himself and the WDHA Rock Radio Street Team! Freshly-made pizza
and cold beverages will be available at the Pizza Vita Food Court, and there
will be fun games and tons of prizes and giveaways! Hundreds of Summit
residents are planning to come out to celebrate.
