 "This recent body of abstract paintings represents a looking back towards the artistic influences of the artist's youth. A meditation on what was. An understanding of who he is now. A response to the finite nature and fragility of life and relationship. These abstract works hold no inferences, only frozen slices of time. The present is all they reflect. The future a mirage of unexpected consequences. We make, we do, we find a way to create our life's work. Do not look up to often, as the wind might make you weep."
