Wear your snazziest business ensemble to the September 26 meeting of B.I.G., 10-11:30 am at 214 Springfield Ave. in Summit, as Image Consultant Kerry Cordero addresses the networking group to help us learn how to
match our business brand to our ensemble.
“Your image is a powerful tool that can be used to express your value proposition,” Cordero says. “The right image and message will also empower you to achieve your goals
and exceed your own expectations.”

Cordero says that this presentation will focus on image making and the rules of establishing a personal presence. She will inspire, encourage and help you look better through an introduction to the elements of dressing for success, using what you already have and knowing what you should have.
Each month, the programming at B.I.G meetings provides women with support, education and networking opportunities to discover personal and professional fulfillment.
Melanie Wilson, leader of the local group, says that that each B.I.G. meeting is different, based largely on the makeup of the women in the room. “I think the most valuable part of B.I.G. is the support and networking aspect, and the willingness that these women have in sharing their experiences with each other to help them further their own career paths,” she said. “The stay-at-home mom who is just exploring a new business venture and the entrepreneur who has a successful business that has been around for a long time both are equal participants in the B.I.G. experience. Women connect and share resources and ideas; it is quite empowering,” she said.
