Join Social Media Club North Jersey for an informative breakfast event exploring the benefits and challenges of healthcare communications and social media, with a panel of experts offering a rich variety of perspectives.

 

Our host will be New Jersey Organ and Tissue Sharing Network, the organ procurement organization, which recently moved into its new, state-of-the-art facility.

Lindy Washburn, Medical Writer for The Record and award-winner for her "Living with Cancer" series in which she wrote about "the emotional realities" of her own breast cancer experience, will address how blogging and other media platforms contribute to her journalism.

 

George Guerin, Health & Fitness blogger for NJ.com and renowned professional personal trainer, will detail how social media promotes good diet, fitness and living healthy.

 

Bradley Jobling, Social Media Manager at Columbia University, will discuss the medical center's evolving interactions between patients, physicians and administrators.
