Some suggested items are Canned Tuna and other Canned Meat, Cooking Oil, Mayonnaise, Juice Boxes, Paper Towels, Chili, Baked Beans, Peanut Butter, Jelly and Hot Cereal. We need donations of unopened, undamaged and unexpired food and grocery items.

SHIP (Summit Helping Its People) was formed in 1991 to help those in need in the Summit area. Over the last 15 years we have collected thousands of  pounds of food and related items that has gone to local organizations including SHIP, BRIDGES, SAGE, Area Baby Center, Our House, Loaves and Fishes, and Community Food Bank. We serve a hot breakfast and bag lunch on the weekdays and dinner on the weekends. We also offer a shower program twice a week with clean clothing and fresh towels.
