Instituto para Padres de Niños Pequeños/Early Childhood Parenting/Series in Spanish

Lectures on Early Childhood Parenting. A series for Latino parents with young children up to six years of age.

El Instituto para Padres de Niños de Temprana Edad llevara a cabo una serie de charlas en Español para los padres con niños pequeños de hasta seis años de edad.

Las charlas auspiciadas por el Sistema Escolar de Summit y por la agencia de servicios comunales, The Connection for Women and Families, se llevaran a cabo los martes a las 7:00 p.m. durante los meses de Febrero a Mayo, en la sede de The Connection en el 79 Maple Street con Morris Avenue.

Las charlas ya comenzaron con "la importancia del juego para los niños," y las proximas sesiones tendran lugar una vez al mes: el 7 de Febrero; 13 de Marzo; 3 de Abril y 4 de Mayo.

La psicóloga Ana Rojas dictara las conferencias donde hablara sobre como ayudar a su niño a obedecer ordenes, a aceptar responsabilidad, a entender los limites que enfrentara,  y a como solucionar problemas independientemente.

Las sesiones son gratis y estan abiertas al publico. The Early Childhood Parenting Institute will present a series of lectures in Spanish for parents with young children up to six years old.

The lectures sponsored by the Summit Public School District and The Connection for Women and Children will be held on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. once per month from February to May at The Connection on 79 Maple Street and Morris Avenue.

The series began with a talk about the "importance of play for young children" and the upcoming sessions will be held: Feb 7; March 13, April 4, and May 4.

Psychologist Ana Rojas will be conducting the series where she will talk about how to help your children abide by your rules, how to accept responsibility, how to set limits for your child, and how to teach them to solve problems independently.

The lectures are free and open to the public.
