Live Nativity Reenacts the Story of Christmas

Families were invited to enjoy hot chocolate and crafts inside the church auditorium.

Central Presbyterian Church hosted a reenactment of the First Christmas, complete with live animals and costumed actors Sunday afternoon.

The event coincided with Summit's annual tree lighting and many families braved the cold to witness the story of the birth of Jesus. After stopping at three stations where the Christmas story was narrated, visitors were invited inside the church auditorium to warm up with hot chocolate and enjoy some craft-making.

Upcoming events at Central Presbyterian Church are as follows:

Friday, December 13 at 12:15 p.m. - Music for Organ and Piano 4-hands - Taisiya Pushkar, piano & Charity Wicks, organ & piano

Friday, December 20 at 7:30 p.m. - Duo Scorpio - harpists Kristi Shade & Kathryn Andrews. An evening of music for two harps, including favorite holiday selections.
