One in three women on the planet is raped of beaten in her lifetime – one billion women violated – one billion daughters, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, lovers and friends.
This Valentine’s Day, one billion women and those who love them are being invited to walk out, dance, rise up, and demand an end to this violence.
Join Interweave and its community partners in this global campaign to stop violence against women and girls in an impromptu dance session with the Kent Place School Pep Squad on Thursday, Feb. 14, 3:30 to 4 p.m. at MONDO, located at 426 Springfield Ave. in Summit, NJ.
Everyone is welcome – all genders, ages, professionals, students, seniors, etc. – and no dance experience is necessary! This event will be recorded and aired online and on TV - bring your kids, friends and family to join the fun - it’s free and open to the public.
