TryCAN Families at the Movies Held Monday

TryCAN kids, siblings and families are invited to join in the fun.

The Department of Community Programs, in collaboration with the Summit PAL, is proud to present TryCAN Families at the Movies from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Monday at the Summit Community Center.

The free event, which includes a dance party and screening of the G-rated film "Everyone's Hero," is ideal for children with special needs and their families. The program is offered as part of Summit’s 16th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.

Light refreshments will be served and chairs will be available but children should bring a sleeping bag, blanket or pillow. The afternoon will be chaperoned by TryCAN teen mentors and adult volunteers.

Participants must R.S.V.P. to Kevin at summitcan@gmail.com as space is limited.
