JLS Hosts Community Leadership Forum
The Junior League of Summit (JLS) is hosting a Community Leadership Forum for non-profit organizations Wednesday, November 20 at Temple Sinai in Summit from 9-11 am.
This training and networking opportunity will feature national speaker, Karen Henning, Principal and Founder of CareerScape Consulting. Henning will address the tough issues non-profit organizations face today, such as how to adjust to the changing times while staying true to your mission and how to know when it's time to change direction and/or abandon strategies.
"The JLS takes great pride in fulfilling our mission of promoting voluntarism and improving the community," said JLS President Colleen Markley. "This is a wonderful example of how we do just that. Providing training for other charitable organizations is not only a boon for those groups, but it ultimately makes a positive impact on the community as a whole."
