JLS Invites Applications for Scholarships

The Junior League of Summit, 37 DeForest Ave., invites local high school students to apply for the League's scholarships in honor of the late Shirley Wight Keeney, Past President of the JLS. The JLS is offering three $5,000 scholarships to be awarded in 2014.

These scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who live or attend school in Summit, Chatham, New Providence, or Berkeley Heights, are in the top third of their graduating class, and have shown significant volunteer work, which complements the League's mission, during their high school years. They must also plan to attend a two or four year accredited college, university, or business/vocational school.

Applications will be posted on the JLS website on or about February 1, 2014 and are due by March 15, 2014.  If you have any questions or would like a paper copy of the application, please contact the JLS office at 908-273-7349 or  jlsoffice@yahoo.com.
