Oak Knoll Seniors Named National Achievement Scholarship Semifinalists

Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child congratulates Janel Brown of Union and Kimberly Maduabum of Mine Hill, both members of the Class of 2014, on being named 2014 National Achievement Scholarship Semifinalists. Senior Katherine Scott of Montclair was also named as one of 3,100 Outstanding Participants in the National Achievement Scholarship Program.

The National Achievement Scholarship Program recognizes scholastically talented Black American high school seniors. More than 1,600 students have been designated as semifinalists who will not compete for approximately 800 Achievement Scholarship awards worth about $2.5 million.
