Francis T. Burke, Jr., 64, of Summit, died peacefully with his family at his side on January 3rd, 2014.
He was born and raised in Cranford, graduating from Cranford High School in 1967 where he met his wife Robin of 41 years. He was a longtime employee of Continental Airlines in Newark, NJ.
He was the beloved husband of Robin (nee Brown) and devoted father to his children Erin, 37, of Summit, Patrick, 33, and daughter-in-law Alexandra of Laos, and Kate, 29, of Clark and sister Wendy McDonald of Jacksonville, Florida. He also leaves behind five beloved nephews, Wayne and Mark Caffrey, James and Erik Czarnatowicz and John King as well as many great nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be at Higgins Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave., Westfield on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday January 8th at 9:30am at St. Anne's Church in Garwood. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, PO Box 27106 New York, NY 10087-7106.
