3 Injured After Car Hits Tree Near I-78

Two of the passengers were rushed to Overlook Medical Center, another declined medical attention.

Two ambulances responded to the scene of a car crash off  Interstate 78 on Thursday night. According to reports, some time around 8:15 p.m. a vehicle ran off the road and crashed into a tree. Three people were injured, according to John Staunton, crew chief for the . 

Two of the three passengers were transported to Overlook Medical Center. A third passenger signed a medical release, but was later transported to the hospital as well, according to Staunton.

The extent of the injuries are not clear at this time.
