Amber Alert Cancelled for Child Allegedly Abducted in Union County

Adrian Tonge, 2, has been found.

Update 7:35 p.m.

Authorities have now cancelled a state-wide Amber Alert for a missing Union County boy orginally issued around 4:30pm on Friday. The boy has been found according to reports.

Adrian Tonge, 2, was allegedly taken by his father, Brett M. Tonge, who does not have custody according to authorities, from an area in the 700 block of Westfield Avenue in Elizabeth.

Brett Tonge, 25, is described as approximately 6 feet tall and 150 lbs. and was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black boots. Reports say he did not have a vehicle and fled on foot.

Adrian has black hair with brown eyes and was last seen this afternoon wearing a green jacket, beige shirt, and blue jeans.
