Update: Burglary Reported at Joe's Pizzeria; Big Screen TV Stolen

Incident was reported just before 3a.m. on Wednesday.

(Update: 3:45 p.m.)

The Summit Police Department's Detective Bureau is still investigating a forced entry and robbery at in the early morning hours of Wednesday. According to police, the front two doors of the business were forced open, allowing entry into the establishment. Police responded to an alarm that went off around 2:30 a.m.

A big screen TV attached to the wall in the front dining area was taken. Police say there was nothing additional stolen.

Police are still gathering evidence and are seeking the public's help in the matter. They are hoping someone comes forward with information. "If you noticed anything suspicious in the area around that time, please give us a call [908-277-9384]," said Detective Bureau's Sgt. Peter Frank.
