Free CPR Training in Summit

The training exercise is being held by the Summit First Aid Squad.

The Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad is offering locals another opportunity to be trained in CPR for free at their building Wednesday, June 19 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Successful students will receive a “CPR for Healthcare Providers” certificate from the American Heart Association, according to a release from the first aid squad.

The Squad building is located on Summit Avenue across from the Lawton C. Johnson Middle School. To register for the class, please call (908) 451-5483 or sign up online at: summitems.org.

In addition to providing 24-hour emergency medical response, the First Aid Squad is also committed to providing health and safety training to the Summit community.
