Kids Hop Around FAC for PAL Easter Egg Hunt

Hundreds of Summit children were able to enjoy a morning with their families, local police officers and the Easter bunny!

Hundreds of Summit children scrambled to collect as many eggs as possible at the third annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Summit Police Athletic Leaue and the Department of Community Programs on Saturday.

Although the morning was chilly, it did not deter the young and the young at heart, from having a good time and meeting the Easter bunny who made a surprise visit  for pictures just before the hunt began at 10 a.m.

The hunt was divided into two groups: one for pre-schoolers and the other for older children. Entertainment included a comedic stilt-walker and the Easter bunny. After prizes were given out to children who found specially-marked eggs, raffle prizes were also distributed to the general public.
