Leukemia Donation Can Stolen From Diner

Thief left with an unknown amount of money.

A can used to collect donations for a leukemia-related charity was stolen from a diner on River Road in Summit, police said. 

The theft was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday and the individual believed to have taken the can fled before police arrived. 

The amount of money contained in the can is unknown, police said.
