Dog Lost In Summit
A local couple spotted a golden retriever with a pink collar and no dog tags Saturday morning.
Summit Patch reader Laura Capece Venables shared a photo Saturday morning of a lost golden retreiver. The photo, posted on Facebook, was taken just after the dog was found roaming around Ashland Road in the vicinity of Maple Street.
Venables said she found the dog, which she believes is a female because of the pink collar, around 11a.m. "We waited with her for quite some time, but no one was looking for her," she wrote on Facebook. "I hope someone has already claimed her."
Venables said she left the dog with the Summit Police Department. It's not clear at this time if the cute pooch has been claimed.
