Police Blotter: 2 NY Men Arrested on Drug Charges

Both men arrested on possession and distribution charges.

On Aug. 11, police received a report of theft of light blue GT bicycle from a basement common area in a Walnut Street multiple residence sometime between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Aug. 10. The value of the bike is unknown.
 
On Aug. 12, police arrested Ted Mandel, 18, of Summit, at Beauvoir Avenue for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
 
On Aug. 13, police received a report of theft of travel bag valued at $120 containing documents, clothing and a DVD player from a vehicle while it was parked on Maple Avenue sometime between 2:45 p.m. and 4:50 p.m.
 
On Aug. 13, police arrested Besin Kuyatsemi, 25, of Staten Island, N.Y., at River Road and Iris Road for Possession of 50 grams or less of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and third degree Manufacturing, Distributing, and Dispensing of controlled dangerous substances.
 
On Aug. 13, police arrested Craig Semper, 23, of Brooklyn, N.Y., at River Road and Iris Road for Possession of 50 grams or less of Marijuana, and third degree Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Manufacturing, Distributing, and Dispensing of Controlled Dangerous Substances.

On Aug. 14, police received a report of damage to an Ashwood Avenue residential property during the week of Aug. 7. Security camera removed from house, pieces of flagstone missing from walkway and damage to bushes reported.
 
On Aug. 14, police received a report of theft of delivered FedEx package containing a Verizon cell phone from the front steps of an Ashwood Avenue residence sometime during the week of Aug. 7.
 
On Aug. 14, police arrested Kirsten Crawford, 21, of Summit, at Bridgewater Police
Department on Summit warrant for Contempt of Court.
 
On Aug, 16, police arrested Ahmad Manley, 24, of Newark, at Springfield Avenue for
Driving While Suspended.
