Police Blotter: 4 Laptops Stolen From Washington School

The following arrest information was supplied by the Summit police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Four computers were reported stolen Aug. 2 by the Summit .

Lt. Steven Zagorski said four Apple macbook laptops were allegedly stolen from on Morris Avenue. There were no sign of forced entry, he said.

On Aug 2, Sheldon Hatcher of Plainfield was arrested on a Summit warrant by Summit Detectives in Newark.

On Aug, 2, Glenwood Place residents reported the theft of a green mountain bike and a purple mountain bike.

On Aug, 2, James Hauer, age 42, from Summit was arrested for contempt of court and driving while suspended.

On Aug. 3, A Park Ave resident reported the theft of a navigation device and a blue tooth speaker from an unlocked motor vehicle.

On Aug. 3, An Overlook Road resident reported that someone had pried the door handle of their car attempting to gain entry.

On Aug. 3, A Waldron Ave resident reported that someone had entered their unlocked vehicle overnight and removed a camera valued at $500.
