Police Blotter: Copper Stolen From Claremont Site

Stolen metal valued at $2,200.

During the week of Sept. 15 to Sept. 21, police received reports of $2,200 worth of copper stolen from the site of the Claremont Corporate Center on Springfield and Morris Avenues. The full blotter is below:

  • On Sept. 15, Ryan M. Vernotico, 21, of Summit, was arrested at Oak Ridge Avenue for Contempt of Court.
  • On Sept. 15,  Paul J. Pellicano, 40, of Florham Park, was arrested at Irving Place for Criminal Atttempted Burglary. 
  • On Sept. 16, police received a report of theft from a vehicle while it was parked in a Greenfield Avenue residential driveway sometime between 6:45 p.m. on Sept. 15 and 8 a.m. Reported stolen was a black Jan’s sport gym bag containing clothing and make-up. 
  • On Sept. 16, police receieved a report of theft of copper from construction site at Springfield Avenue and Morris Avenue discovered on multiple occasions from Sept. 10 to Sept. 16.  Total estimated value of copper $2,200.
  • On Sept. 17,  Keith Jordan, 41, of Vauxhall, was arrested at Summit Train Station for Civil Contempt of Court and Contempt of Court.
  • On Sept. 17, Gary Esterman, 65, of Springfield, was arrested at Maple Street for Driving While Suspended, Failure to Observe Signal and Contempt of Court.
  • On Sept. 18 William J. Bulmer, 59, of Morristown, was arrested at Summit Avenue and Route 124 for No Turn on Red and Contempt of Court.
  • On Sept. 18, Brian Thomas Russell, 35, of Newark, arrested at Springfield Police Department on Summit warrant for Contempt of Court.
  • On Sept. 19, police received a report of theft of LG Voyager flip phone valued at $200 from Briant Park sometime between 5 and 6 p.m.
  • On Sept. 21, Steven F. Ward, 42, of Elizabeth, was arrested at Springfield Avenue and Middle Avenue for Contempt of Court.
