Police Blotter: Livingston Man Arrested for Identity Theft

Man arrested at police headquarters.

On March 23, police arrested David Brady, 37, of Morristown, at Summit Police Department for third-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft of movable property.
 
On March 23, police arrested Yun H. Park, 51, of West Orange, at Morris Avenue for Driving While Intoxicated, Turns at Controlled Intersection, Failure to Yield Right of Way to Emergency Vehicle and Consent to Take Samples of Breath.
 
On March 24, police arrested Jamal Ashby, 38, at Springfield Avenue and Glenwood Place for Contempt of Court.
 
On March 24, police arrested Kevin Schmidt, 31, of Summit, at Tulip Street and New England Avenue for Driving While Suspended and Contempt of Court.
 
On March 25, police received a report of damage to motor vehicle which was parked at a Weaver Street residence sometime between 9 p.m., March 24 and 7:30 a.m., March 25. The side window was reportedly smashed in, the gear shifting lever broken and ignition damaged.
 
On March 25, police arrested Joseph Salerno, 40, of Livingston, arrested at Summit Police Headquarters for third-degree theft by deception and third-degree Impersonation – Identity Theft.
 
On March 27, police received a report of theft of red Giant brand bicycle from the Summit Train Station sometime between February 7 and March 27.
 
On March  27, police arrested Eduardo Reyes, 23, of Summit, at Glenside Avenue for Theft of Movable Property and Driving While Intoxicated.
 
On March 27, police arrested Christopher Kaye Shelffo, 49, of Maplewood, at River Road for Driving While Suspended and Contempt of Court.
 
On March 27, police arrested Vincent Mall, 40, of Kenilworth, at Kent Place Blvd. for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Suspended.
 
On March 28, police arrested Thomas Swift, 53, of Orange, at Union Place for Contempt of Court.
