Police Blotter: Macbook Stolen From High School Locker Room

Missing laptop computer valued $1,500.

On April 20, police received a report of theft of three Apple MacBook laptop computers from various locations in the Summit High School.  Two of the laptops were discovered missing in October of 2010 and one was discovered missing in December of 2010.
 
On April 20, police arrested Pelvin Harris, 42, of Morristown, at Union Place for contempt of court and possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
On April 20, police arrested Jose L. Astudillourquizo, 28, of Jersey City, at Morris Avenue for driving while suspended.
 
On April 22, police arrested Paul L. Sturm, 19, of Summit, at Rt. 124 East and Canoe Brook Parkway for driving while intoxicated, leaving scene of accident involving property, failure to report an accident and reckless driving.
 
On April 22, police received a report of damage to a vehicle while it was parked on Kent Place Blvd. sometime between 8 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.  Driver’s side rearview mirror pulled off and discarded in nearby bushes.
 
On April 23, police arrested Nikhil A. James, 22, of Newark, at Orchard Street and Briant Parkway for driving while suspended.
 
On April 25, police received a report of theft of silver slim profile Macbook laptop computer valued at approximately $1,500 from a backpack which was located in the high school locker room sometime between 3 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., this date.
 
On April 25, police received a report of theft of ID, insurance card and bank debit card from a wallet which was located in a patient’s room at Overlook Hospital sometime between April 21 and April 23.
