Police Blotter: Multiple Malvern Drive Cars Robbed

The following arrest information was supplied by the Summit police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

On July 19, police received a report of theft of 20” Trek bicycle valued at $900 from a High Street residential garage at approximately noon on July 18.
 
On July 21, police arrested Onorio Jimenez-Diaz, 33, of Morristown, at Springfield Avenue and Glenwood Place for Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution DPO and Fugitive From Justice.
 
On July 21, police arrested Matthew A. Dewald, 18, of New Providence, arrested at Caldwell Avenue for Criminal Mischief DPO.
 
On July 21, police arrested Nikhil A. James, 22, of Newark, at Ashwood Avenue for Defiant Trespassing.
 
On July 25, police arrested Robert T. Obrien, 31, of Westfield, at Beauvoir Avenue and Walnut Street for Possession of 50 Grams or Less Marijuana.
 
On July 25, police received a report of theft from vehicle while it was parked in a Malvern Drive residential driveway sometime between 9 p.m. July 24 and 7 a.m., July 25. Reported missing was
$7 cash, an Android cellphone, IPod, and a GPS unit.
 
On July 25, police received a report of theft from two vehicles while they were parked in a Malvern Drive residential driveway sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 7:47 a.m.. Reported missing was a Garmin Nuvi GPS and charger valued at $250 and another Garmin Nuvi GPS and charger valued at $150 as well as a Monster Ipod connector valued at $70 and a set of Blackberry headphones valued at $30.
 
On July 25, police received a report of vehicle’s two tires slashed while it was parked in a Park and Ride Lot between 8 p.m. July 23 and 4 p.m. July 24.
 
On July 25, police received a report of theft from vehicle while it was parked in a Stockton Road residential driveway sometime between 2 p.m. July 24 and 8:34 a.m. July 25.  Reported missing was
$5 in change.
