Police Blotter: Reports of Theft on Mischief Night

Several pieces of Halloween decorations reported stolen.

On Oct. 27, police arrested Gary Jones, 47 of Jersey City, at Hudson County Jail on a Summit warrant for Contempt of Court.
 
On Oct. 30, police received a report of theft of approximately $1,000 worth of Prolosec from a DeForest Avenue drug store. Suspects were gone on patrol’s arrival.
 
On Oct. 30, police arrested Jo A. Clemens, 50, of Union, at Springfield Avenue for Driving While Suspended
 
On Oct. 30, police arrested Stefano Tempesta, 19 of Summit, at Springfield Avenue for Distribution of controlled dangerous substances on or near a public place, Possession of controlled dangerous substance, Distribution of controlled dangerous substance on or near school property or transport and oossession of Marijuana with intent to distribute.
 
On Oct. 31, police received a report of theft of two Halloween tombstone decorations from the front yard  of a Kent Place Blvd. residence sometime during the night, one of which was found at another Kent Place Blvd. property.
 
On Oct. 31, police discovered a “Pay Here” parking box had been spray painted orange and black during the previous night.
 
On Nov. 1 police received a report of damage to four exterior light fixtures at a Springfield Avenue residence sometime during the previous night.
 
On Nov. 2 police received a report of theft of a Halloween decoration (white ghost with built-in light approximately 3 ½ feet in height valued at $50.00) from the front lawn of an Evergreen Road residence sometime between 8 p.m. Oct 28 and 10 a.m. Oct. 29.
 
On Nov. 2, police received a report of theft of a Coach wallet valued at $250 which contained $200 cash, ID and bank cards from a purse which had been left in or on a vehicle parked in a Kent Place Blvd. residential driveway sometime between 3 and 3:30 p.m.
 
On Nov. 2, police arrested Kabir Nunnally, 40 of Newark, arrested at Union Police Department on Summit warrant for Contempt of Court
