Police Warn of Magazine Subscription Scam

Summit PD uses new Nixle notification system to warm of Dynasty Technologies or Face-To-Face magazine subscription scam.

The Summit Police Department has issued an alert via Nixle are warning residents of a door-to-door magazine subscription scam that has been reported in Summit and its surrounding towns. This organization is called "Dynasty Technologies or Face-To-Face" and the young men and women will first speak about being in a competition with others to work their way into your home. If you do not find a magazine to your liking, they will attempt to sell you a "charity subscription" which is where your contribution will enable them to have a hospitalized child receive a child oriented magazine.

If you then attempt to cancel your subscription, the company conveniently never receives it and many people report they have never received one issue of their subscription. The Better Business Bureau has rated this company with an "F."
