Summit Crime Report: Burglary, Thefts, Malicious Mischief

This information was submitted to Summit Patch by the Summit Police Department. The following incidents occurred between Feb. 19 and Feb. 24.

Summit Police recently handled a report of burglary and theft from a residence on Van Dyke Place, which occurred on Feb. 21 between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Items that were reported missing include a pendant valued between $300 and $400, and a Samsung Digital Camera valued at $100.

Other reported incidents include:

Feb. 19

Summit Police handle a report of Malicious Mischief to a Colt Road residence, which occurred sometime between 3 p.m. on Feb. 14 and 7:00 a.m. Feb. 19. The front window of the residence was found broken.

There was a reported theft of license plates from a vehicle parked in a DeForest Avenue parking lot. The theft occurred between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Feb. 15.

Feb. 24

Summit Police handled a reported theft of $400 cash from a Hobart Avenue private club locker room, which occurred between 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Feb. 24.
