Summit Crime Report: Summit Ave. Store Burglary, Gas Theft

On Monday, $70 worth of gas was reported stolen from the back of a West End Avenue home. According to police, between 11:30a.m. and 2:30p.m. two full 5-gallon gas cans were taken from the property.
A Summit Avenue liquor store reportedly had items stolen between 5p.m. on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at 8:30a.m. Twenty bottles of juice, possibly including some liquor, according to police were taken from the store.
Cash in the amount of $200 was reportedly stolen on Oct. 28, when a wallet was taken from a bag left inside a Union Place coffee shop. The alleged theft occurred in the afternoon between 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.

A yellow purse with about $525 cash inside of it was allegedly stolen from a Springfield Avenue hotel bar on the night of Oct. 25.
The front passenger window of a Wildwood Lane vehicle was broken and its Garmin GPS was stolen between Oct. 21 and 24, according to police.

A MacBook Pro and cloth bag were stolen from a vehicle parked on Railroad Avenue on the afternoon of Oct. 24.
A campaign lawn sign was reported stolen from a Ramsey Drive residence on Oct. 23.
