Displaced Voters Have Until 5p.m. to Submit Electronic Ballot Application

New Jersey Voters staying in other parts of the state, where they are not registered, are permitted to go to any polling place on Election Day in the State and vote a provisional ballot.

The following is a press release for Union county residents who have been displaced outside the county.

Voters have until Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 5pm to email or fax the application for their ballot, which you may access online at http://ucnj.org/government/county-clerk/vote-by-mail


The County Clerk's Office has until Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 to process the applications and forward ballots to registered voters. - Print and sign the application.  See below for links to download the application.

- Either email it to lbobish@ucnj.org OR fax it to 908-558-3592.

Ballots must be returned to the Board of Elections by 8pm on Friday, November 9th by email to UCBOE@ucnj.org OR by fax to 908-527-4127.

New Jersey Voters staying in other parts of the state, where they are not registered, are permitted to go to any polling place on Election Day in the State and vote a provisional ballot. The ballot will be forwarded to the county of the voter’s residence. Out of county voters may also vote by mail or fax.

Any ballots which will be mailed must be postmarked by November 5th and will be counted as long as they are received by the Board of Elections by November 19.
