Tuesday is Election Day in Summit.

The Patch will be covering all the races on the ballot with updates throughout the day and Tuesday night's unofficial results. All the information you need for Election day can be found here.

Voting will take place in town between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Here are voting locations and changes due to Hurricane Sandy.

Common Council

Council President Rich Madden and former Councilman Al Dill are running unopposed for Ward II and Ward I seats on the council.

Presidential Election

President Barack Obama is in what some are calling a dead heat with Republican candidate Mitt Romney going into this year's presidential election. Patch has round-ups on the presidential hopefuls first, second and third debates.

U.S. Senate

U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D), the junior United States Senator from New Jersey who was first appointed in 2006 to fill Jon Corzine's seat, takes on Republican challenger Joe Kyrillos, who easily defeated three opponents in the primary.

7th Congressional District

Republican Leonard Lance will face Upendra Chivukula in November in a district that includes Summit, and portions of Essex, Union, Morris, Somerset and Hunterdon counties.

Public Questions

Residents will vote yes or no on two questions about the "Building Our Future Bond Act" and a constitutional amendment allowing contributions to be taken from justices' and judges' salaries for their employee benefits.
