Summit PD Open House

SUMMIT POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES ITS FIRST OPEN HOUSE

The Summit Police Department has announced that its first ever Open House will be held on Sunday, May 20, from 2:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. Police Chief Robert Weck is inviting and encouraging all residents of Summit to stop by the Police Department where they will be able to meet their local police officers as well as take a tour of police headquarters.

Members of the Union County Emergency Response Team and Union County’s SWAT team will also be in attendance, and refreshments will be available courtesy of Summit’s PAL board. Children are most welcome at this event and will undoubtedly be given souvenirs of their visit.

Chief Weck noted that he and his entire Department were looking forward to meeting the City’s residents and giving them a first-hand look at the day-to-day operations of its police force.
