DOG OF THE WEEK – Help Jazzy find her Forever Home

Jazzy is a Pointer/Collie mix, approximately 8 months old. Jazzy was found on the side of the road in Southern Georgia barely able to lift her head. She was emaciated and dehydrated, with big patches of hair burned off her head and ears. This little girl was close to death when a Home for Good Dog Rescue foster took her in. One week later she filled out, her hair grew back, and she became a normal playful, smart puppy. Jazzy has been through a lot in her short life. She is ready to go to a home that will give her the playtime, love and care that she always deserved.

Jazzy is very happy, friendly, and eagerly welcomes everyone she meets. She knows basic commands and will need consistency with them. Jazzy responds well to positive rewards and is very eager to please. She is great with children and dogs. Jazzy is a puppy and loves to play and run.  Jazzy would do well with an active family that likes to hike, and loves the outdoors. She settles down nicely and can also be a couch potato. Jazzy is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations and micro chipped.

About Home for Good Dog Rescue:

Home for Good is a volunteer-based, 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a 100 percent foster based organization with an office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from deplorable conditions in kill shelters, tending to their physical needs and finding them a new loving home where they can thrive.

At Home for Good, we seek the best treatment for our animals. We provide medical care, training, support and hope. Our dogs are vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. We rescue puppies and dogs that are facing euthanasia. Some require surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care for respiratory illnesses, skin infections, heartworm treatments, and emergency surgeries. Through our adoption services, these loving animals are given a chance at a happy and fulfilled life.
