DOG OF THE WEEK – Help Krissy find her Forever Home

Krissy is a 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever/Spitz. She was rescued from a high kill shelter while she was pregnant. She gave birth to 8 gorgeous pups while in foster care. All of her puppies lived and were recently adopted. Krissy is a beautiful medium-size dog at about 30 pounds and is fully grown. She has beautiful soft white fur.

She just wants to love and trust her owners despite her rough start in life. Krissy is being fostered with an older Labrador retriever and a cat. Krissy would do well in a household with older kids, single adult or couple. She is housebroken, up to date with vaccinations, spayed, and micro- chipped.

For more information on Krissy or any of the other dogs available through Home for Good Dog Rescue visit the Home for Good website (www.homeforgooddogs.org), call (908) 598-8212 or email info@hfgdr.org. If you are considering adopting Krissy or one of the other Home for Good dogs, please complete an online application.  A pre-approved application is required for all “meet and greets” and adoptions.

About Home for Good Dog Rescue:

Home for Good is a volunteer-based, 501(c) (3) non-profit animal rescue. We are a 100 percent foster based organization with an office in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from deplorable conditions in kill shelters, tending to their physical needs and finding them a new loving home where they can thrive.

At Home for Good, we seek the best treatment for our animals. We provide medical care, training, support and hope. Our dogs are vaccinated and ID micro-chipped. We rescue puppies and dogs that are facing euthanasia. Some require surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, while others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care for respiratory illnesses, skin infections, heartworm treatments, and emergency surgeries. Through our adoption services, these loving animals are given a chance at a happy and fulfilled life.
