SAGE Receives Pathfinder Car Donation

SAGE Eldercare was recently the recipient of a silver Nissan Pathfinder car donation by Jason Bidle of Summit.  The tax deductible donation was picked up by the CARS program last week and will be at auction to raise funds for SAGE’s services in the coming month.

“I was looking for a charity to donate my car to and then I saw a sign at SAGE and decided that I’d like them to receive the contribution for my Pathfinder, which was no longer needed since I use public transportation for work.  Previously, my mother was a home health aide for SAGE’s HomeCare Service while I was growing up in Berkeley Heights.  I also had a summer job working for the Community Paratransit and would often take clients to SAGE’s adult day health center.  The decision to donate to SAGE so they could help older adults in the community was an easy choice,” stated Jason Bidle.

“Last summer, SAGE began a partnership with CARS™, a nation vehicle donation program.  Through the program, anyone can support SAGE’s mission to assist older adults as a community resource by donating unwanted vehicles and, thereby, make a difference in the lives of others in the community where they live,” noted Dawn Knill, Director of Development for SAGE.
