Summit Toy Professor Offers to Donate to the Santa Claus Shop

The Toy Professor, 430 Springfield Avenue, in Summit, has generously offered to donate 10 percent of all standard sales on Saturday, November 10th to the Santa Claus Shop.

The Santa Claus Shop is pleased to announce that The Toy Professor, 430 Springfield Avenue, in Summit, has generously offered to donate 10 percent of all standard sales on Saturday, November 10th to the Santa Claus Shop.  On November 10, 2012, American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) stores in neighborhoods across the nation will celebrate the Neighborhood Toy Store Day.

Local toy stores enjoy the opportunity to share their charitable efforts with their communities and ask customers to recognize the many different ways in which neighborhood toy stores enhance and contribute to the community.  Geoff Stern, President of The Toy Professor said, “Of course one of the ways we contribute to the community is through sustained giving to many different local charities.  In this vain, I would like to anchor a Santa Claus Shop donation program to this year's Toy Professor Neighborhood Toy Store Day Program.”   In addition to The Toy Professor’s donation, patrons will also have the opportunity to make an additional personal donation to the Santa Claus Shop, which can be added to their invoice at checkout.

The Santa Claus Shop provides an opportunity for needy local families and senior citizens who live in Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights to select free, new holiday gifts for members of their immediate family and themselves.  The shop exists solely on monetary donations from local business, charitable organizations and area residents to purchase these gifts
