All About Kindergarten

You're invited to Cornerstone School's Kindergarten information night on Thursday, January 20, from 7:00-8:00pm.

If your child will be entering kindergarten next year, it's time to start thinking about where you'll enroll them. Even if your child won't yet be kindergarten-age next year but you want to start thinking about programs now, you're welcome to join us. At Kindergarten Night, you'll hear about the kindergarten program at Cornerstone and we'll talk about important considerations for choosing any kindergarten program. Topics we'll cover include:

- Half or full day kindergarten: what are the strengths and weaknesses of each?

- Youngest or oldest in the class: if my child's birthday is close to the age cutoff, should I enroll her next year, or wait a year?

- Social considerations: My child will be going to public school. Is it better to start him in public kindergarten so he'll enter school with the same kids he'll be with throughout elementary?

- Philosophy: Each school has it's own approach. What's special about Cornerstone's philosophy?

You'll have the opportunity to meet our two kindergarten teachers, and hear specifically about Cornerstone's kindergarten program, as well as having your questions answered.

We hope to see you there and look forward to discussing all things kindergarten!
